Materials

  • Colored pasta
  • Yarn or string
  • Scotch tape
  • Scissors

Directions

  1. Cut a piece of yarn or string according to the length of necklace your child wants to make. Be sure to leave several extra inches on the string to tie off the finished product.
  2. Wrap a small piece of Scotch tape around the end of the yarn or string to prevent the end from fraying.
  3. String the pasta onto the yarn or string. If the pasta keeps falling off the loose end of the yarn, tie a piece of pasta about 2" from the end to prevent the rest from slipping off.
  4. When finished, tie the ends together to make a necklace.
