Description

Now that your baby has arrived, your social life is sure to change. You're now working around baby's schedule, work, household activities and dealing with complete and utter exhaustion. You also have friends who don't have children which creates a completely different social dynamic. Now's the time to start thinking about how to maintain a healthy social life. Because when mom's happy, everyone's happy.

Finding new friends isn't always easy and sometimes takes some courage. Here are some tips on where to find other moms who are looking for some new friends, too.
  • Birthing and breastfeeding classes
  • Through other friends
  • Storytime at libraries and bookstores
  • Join or start a play group
  • Playgrounds
  • Houses of worship
  • Through your real estate agent
  • Websites like Truebluematch.com
  • Mommy and Me classes
  • Take a class you are interested in
  • Parent support group
  • Exercise classes
  • Parents As Teachers
  • Meet Up groups
  • Work or your spouses work
Remember, there's another mom out there just waiting to find a friend just like you.
