Two-Year-Old Responsibilities
Description
You will need to teach your child how to do everything. Remember it will take more than once to teach your child some things they can be responsible for. Be patient and make it fun. Taking the time to teach your child new skills will save you more time in the future.
- A two-year-old can learn to be responsible for:
- Undressing
- Washing and drying hands
- Getting into the tub (supervised)
- Trying to use the washcloth at bath time
- Picking up toys and putting in a toy box
- Feed self with spoon and fork
- Know where some foods are in the refrigerator and pantry and get them out
- Taking clothing out of the drawer
- Putting shoes on
