At this age, your child should have mastered many chores. Make sure that they are improving on they way that they are completing their chores. Reinforce and raise your expectations on the chores your child can do.

Your five-year-old should also be able to maintain a schedule with their chores if you have a list for them to use. For instance, your child should be able to bring the laundry to the washer on laundry day, or feed the pet at a specific time each day. Reminders will be necessary but your child will love the routine.
